Memorial Picture "...ULINSKI, Theodore Felix Sr. Shipmate PixCirca 1942...My Father, Theodore Felix Ulinski, Sr., passed away in 1994. Dad served in the Navy for 32 years. He attended Pittsburg Institute of Aeronautics for two years in Leechburg, PA, to become a government-licensed aviation mechanic. As a World War II In-Flight Mechanic of the PB4Y-1, he flew with pilot Joseph Kennedy, Jr., U.S. Navy anti-submarine warfare squadron VPB-110. However, he declined the volunteer mission Operation Aphrodite that took the life of Joe and his Co-Pilot. Theodore was born January 7, 1912, in Harrison Township of Pittsburgh, PA to Alexander Ulinski Sr. and Alexandra (Alice) Chodkowska.
