COTTONE, Bernie scpobernie@juno.com "...When I came off Active Duty in Dec. 1957 I went right into VP-723 NAS Glenview, Illinois. I became a Plane Captain shortly thereafter. I stayed with VP-723 until all the Reserve VP Units at NAS Glenview, Illinois merged into VP-70V-1, VP-70V-3 and VP-70V-3. I stayed with VP-70 until 1970 when we became VP-90. I stayed with VP-90 until retirement in 1993. The leading chief in VP-723 1958, was ADC Leo Aten, whom I am sad to say passed away earlier this year. He was the best leading chief I ever worked for.
