UPDATE "...It's official! There will be a reunion of all willy victor squadrons (Atlatnic and Pacific) at the Holiday Inn, Solomons Island, MD, beginning 14-Oct-1999, and ending with a dinner / program on Saturday night 17-Oct-1999. The reunion will include a Patuxant base tour (Friday) and activities for each of the squadrons in attendance so folks can meet with their shipmates. A detailed agenda, travel information and an exact registration procedure will be forwarded as soon as they are available. Hotel reservations can be made now at 410-326-6311 (the reservation code to get one of the 60 rooms set aside for barrier sailors is "AIR"). We will provide information regarding alternate hotel accommodations soon. Wes Mortensen (AEWBarRonPac) has agreed to help with the program and with his considerable skill and enthusiasm we can expect a great snapshot of "the way we were". We will need a lot of help to make this a quality and memorable event. Specific requirements will be forwarded as they are identified. Please dig deep into your address books and contact as many of our "Willy Victor" shipmates as possible! More to follow!
